Dry cupping
Dry cupping is a treatment where a cup is placed on an area of the body. The suction then draws out any old blood and fluids from deep within the muscles, replacing it with fresh blood, which aids the healing process.
It’s important to note that marks can be left on the skin from the cups for up to 3 weeks. Therefore, it is advisable to ensure that if you are getting this treatment, you do not have an event such as a wedding or holiday planned where you wouldn’t want these marks to be visible.
While some marks can look painful, cupping is relatively pain-free. There may be a possibility of mild discomfort when the cups are being moved across the skin, but this is generally well-tolerated by most clients.
